great-great-grandmother of the Lipizzanerkugel
company, in her restaurant in the Viennese
Josefstadt, the 8th district, was not only famous
for her delicious cakes like the Original
Lipizzanertorte, which is produced until now - an
almond-chocolate cake with an icing out of white
chocolate - but at the same for her handmade
pralines, which had favourable response by her
guests.
Committed to
this tradition since 1850 and to highest quality
demands as well, the Lipizzanerkugel company
produces the Original Lipizzanerkugel
under the exclusive trademark:
Chocolates
filled with a core of praline paste (34%),
embedded in marzipan (41%), coated with white
chocolate (17%), bottom dipped with dark
chocolate (7%).
Adapted to
modern times, these fine pralines are not
handmade any more but industrially manufactured
under the highest possible quality-standards.
