Interior Car Design
Components
For
enlargement of the application-fields of natural
stone and for development of attractive
alternatives to wooden vaneers, in 1988 Lecon
Group developed new methods in panelling
furniture, walls, floors, building elements, car-
and yacht- interiors with thin natural stone
vaneers. This advanced technology package
embraces 6 patents including new industrial
methods for cutting natural stone, marble,
granite and artificial stone into thin
lightweight not breakable veneers,
production-plants, cutting processes, compound-
and adhesive technologies and a number of
product-design patents as well as design- &
art copyrights.
One
important goal of this technology package for
advanced architectonic application especially for
interior panelling in car-interiors is to be seen
in the durability and safety of a lightweight
compound between a thin stone vaneer and a
carrier material - the car-cockpit panellings
being permanently exposed to torsions,
vibration-forces and temperature changes between
- 30 and + 100 degrees C°. Accordingly, Lecon
not only invented this exclusive automotive
styling component, Lecon
Engineering and Lecon
Design also
developed special composite structures and
adhesive technologies which guarantee durability
and safety according to the necessities of
compound-resistance even against high impacts.
Besides
building material-, floor-, wall- and
furniture-panelling, the hence following interior
panelling of car-cockpits is protected by patents
and design copyrights of Lecon since 1988. A
logical result of Lecon Group´s profound 130
year Heritage in
design, architecture and Stone Systems.
Now
as before, the application of natural stone,
marble and granite as well as artificial
stone-vaneers as exclusive car-cockpit
design-components represent a major
identification item of exclusivity.
