The
Lipizzaner Collection Image Archive manages a
diverse archive of collection works images. We
are pleased to offer for use in all media, the
same high-quality photography of objects and
architecture that allows us to create beautiful
reproductions in our own brochures, calendars,
publications, prints and posters.
Our
staff is available Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-4 PM
CET, to provide you with images for your
editorial, scholarly and publication needs. For

The Lipizzaner Collection
Formats
The
Lipizzaner Collection Image Archive offers a
variety of formats, including 4-x-5 color
transparencies, black-and-white photographs and
color slides. Color transparencies are available
for rental for a maximum period of six months.
Slides are offered for personal or scholarly use
only; reproductions are not permitted from this
medium. The Lipizzaner Collection also offers
digital files of our imagery for viewing and
design purposes and for certain uses on the World
Wide Web.
Making
a Request
All
requests must be made in writing. In your
request, specify the nature of the project and
include all pertinent information. For a book,
please include print run, publication date,
title, author, and languages in which the book
will appear. Indicate where in the publication
the image will appear as well. For all other
requests, please be as detailed as possible.
We
ask that you be as specific as possible regarding
the image you are looking for. Useful information
includes artist, title, date, and medium. Sending
a photocopy or an image is extremely helpful in
identifying exactly which work you need.
If
no photography exists for the image you need, we
may be able to photograph the object in our
studio for an additional fee.

Upon
receipt of your request and our approval, we will
send you an invoice/contract outlining the fees
due and our reproduction guidelines.
Prepayment
is required. We accept payment via check in
€ EURO. Credit card payment will be
available shortly. Please let us know your time
frame and our staff will do its best to
accommodate your needs.
